Rob Schobben’s area of specialisation includes the entire field of real estate law, including all of its public-law (zoning and environmental laws) and civil-law (tenancy and construction laws) aspects. He is also thoroughly conversant in the fields of general administrative law and European tender law. His clients include companies and governments, but private individuals as well, and he regularly litigates in the areas listed above.
Mr Schobben is a member of the Dutch Administrative Law Association [Vereniging voor Bestuursrecht], the Dutch Association of Real Estate Lawyers [Vereniging voor Bouwrecht (VVJ)] and the Dutch Association for Construction Law Lawyers [Vereniging voor Bouwrecht-advocaten and the Vereniging voor Bouwrecht-advocaten].
Prior to starting his law practice in 2000, Mr Schobben taught at university level for 11 years, the last 8 of which he spent as a lecturer on constitutional and administrative law. He received his doctorate in 2000 with his dissertation entitled ‘Political regions and the European Union’ [‘Politieke regio en Europese Unie’]. He has several other publications to his name.

Robert Janssen specialises in the civil-law aspects of construction law as well as residential and commercial tenancy law. He advises companies, housing associations and private individuals on real estate-related issues. In addition to his advisory practice (editing and assessing subcontracting, construction, purchase and tenancy agreements), he has also amassed significant experience in litigating before the District Courts and the Arbitration Board for the Building Industry [Raad van Arbitrage voor de Bouw].
Mr Janssen has completed in-depth courses in the field of civil real estate law. He is a member of the Dutch Association for Construction Law Lawyers [Vereniging voor Bouwrecht-advocaten], the Dutch Association of Real Estate Lawyers [Vereniging van Vastgoed Juristen] and the Dutch Association for Tenancy Lawyers [Vereniging van Huurrechtadvocaten]. He was awarded his degree in Tenancy Law (residential and commercial space), cum laude, in 2007.
